Are you saved?

Salvation in our Orthodox-atheistic culture is a deeply personal topic, and most people do not want to discuss it with "outsiders". This can unfortunately be a serious trap for the person who has adopted such behavior, as it does not allow him or her to accept that he does not understand salvation, and to accept that "some outsider will give him wisdom in life" - something few people like.
This is the reason why this brochure is in your hands. It does not talk about churches, nor about money, it does not talk about any special deeds that you must perform. It talks about the salvation of your soul, just as the god who created us perceives our salvation. It is truly personal, private, in the heart of man, where the encounter of man with the god takes place.
Jesus says to him: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.
(John 14:6)
When the god sent Jesus, his son, to us, he did not send him to build churches, but to make it possible for the god and the person to have an encounter in the heart of the person, through the spirit of the god and in the name of Jesus. An encounter greater than an encounter between two sweethearts, between two people who love each other. This is an encounter that never ends but persists for eternity. This is the reason for his death, burial, and subsequent resurrection from the dead for us.
To have this encounter, ask the god for forgiveness and he will surely forgive you for Jesus' sake. Ask him to be your savior and he will be. Ask Jesus to be your lord and he will be. Ask the god to give you the holy spirit (all in the name of Jesus) and he will give it to you. Even if you don't understand now, this is your salvation. If you find it, you have found eternity and the salvation of your soul. There are no mediators (except Jesus himself), no priests, no pastors, no popes, just you and the god, together forever.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of the god.
(Ephesians 2:8)
