Following the spirituality
If you want to be a spiritual person, you will have to step outside the cliché of a spiritual person as a hermit in some monastery, or the head of some religious organization. spirituality is based on knowing the holy spirit. But so many leaders, especially in the USA, have become accustomed to speaking “spiritually” that they appear to be effective and not two-faced spiritual people. We find nothing different in Eastern Europe, where Orthodox and Catholic priests claim spirituality. The holy spirit, however, is buried under layers of traditions and human and demonic fables. In order to reach him, you cannot try to do it by studying the traditions of the churches, because you will become either Orthodox or a Protestant who hates Orthodoxy, but not spiritual.
And so, in leaving the cliché, you leave the main additional narratives: which saint said what, which Protestant teacher from the past said what, and you go into the unknown. The fear of being deceived is so real, religion will constantly repeat after you that if you are not with them, you will fall away from the faith. And the reality of being deceived is real. There are some facts that we must establish so that you may never be deceived. If you love the god and your neighbor, you cannot go astray, but for this purpose you must receive the holy spirit and speak in tongues, prophesy, heal the sick, and cast out demons—this will give you confidence. And not only that, but this is the beginning of the path with Jesus. But in order to begin, you will have to make sure from the Bible that these facts are facts, and this is so difficult; it may take you from a few minutes in trust to a decade in distrust and dissatisfaction. Jesus himself says, as recorded at the end of Mark, that those who have believed in his name will speak in new tongues.
Let us examine: at the beginning of Acts they receive the spirit, speak in languages unknown to them, but the others understand. Only not all of them—some mock them, saying that they have become drunk with sweet wine early in the morning. Besides this, Jesus speaks much about the holy spirit, as recorded in John, and there we are given the general spiritual knowledge concerning the reasons for receiving the spirit. I leave the studying to you; do not be lazy. But with the spirit we become witnesses of the god in our generation, each one with a gift that is given to him. And do not let the churches confuse you: they have no legitimacy to tell you what your gift is, because they deliberately and intentionally shut people’s mouths, and therefore they are not worthy. And so you only begin: you receive immersion in the spirit, immersion in water, and you take part in the supper of the lord Jesus the anointed, our lord. During this time do not stop praying, because it is written that above all we must pray, but never pray with ready-made prayers; rather, pray with faith: what do you believe that the god can do today and now for you, your neighbors, and all his people, as well as for every outsider—this is true prayer through faith and from the heart.
Often people do not know whether the god wants to speak with them, because they feel so insignificant. Let me tell you: this is precisely the desire of the god, because he is love; he wants to be our god and to answer our prayers, which are with faith and according to his will. You can always understand the god’s will from the god’s scriptures, but do not add to them either any fathers or various teachers, because today there is much deception that comes from the past, from the ancient churches, which are not clean. How can you understand that they are unclean? Think: can you agree to kill in the wars of men when the word tells you 'love even your enemies and give your life for the brothers'? And this is not the only thing that is false; there are many, many things that are not according to the word. And we know that if anyone adds to the word of the god, the god will add plagues to him, and if he takes away, he will take away his share from the book of life and from the holy city. See the end of the book of Revelation for details. And then it is said that the fear of the god is the beginning of wisdom, and if a person discovers what it is to fear the god, he is already on the right path. A person must always fear the god, but in this healthy way, in which he understands that the god is holy and is light and in him there is no darkness at all, and from there, that we too must become like him. Therefore the fear is lest we do not become like him, lest we be found unworthy, lest we be found distant from the god. In order to be able to understand whether you are near or far, learn to remain in the god’s presence.
Many Protestants deny the fact above. Some do not, but they have in mind certain services in which they hope to reach that point, which is praiseworthy, but there order is more important than the action of the spirit, and therefore you will never find the holy spirit who teaches you his will, which naturally is the will of the god. There you may find repentance or perhaps some immersion, and even their schools and their universities are connected with these false doctrines. And they judge according to them, and if, for example, you do not accept the icons, to them you are an apostate, even though the Bible (this is what the god’s writings are often called today) clearly describes that there are no such practices. And each one from his own bell tower judges the others and says that everyone has the right to interpret the Bible as he understands it, but you cannot; that is, you are not a leader and therefore cannot have an opinion. But the writings tell us: Let the one who reads understand! Therefore you not only can understand, but are also obligated to understand before the god, even though the churches deny this.
Let me explain it with an example: if you open any epistle of Paul or of someone else, you can see a text arranged for reading, which has its own context, direction, conclusions, and doctrines. Therefore these letters were not written so that new doctrines might be extracted from them, but so that they might be read, understood, and practiced, nothing more. These letters are witnesses to the god’s will, and it does not change through the centuries. Because Jesus the anointed, our lord, who is the god’s word, is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Therefore the words of the Bible do not change, nor do the desires of the god. Love remains the main commandment, together with faith and holiness—this will never change. And we know that love is impossible in a church. There is order there, not love. Therefore, in the search for spirituality, you can find people with whom to pray, let us say your family, and together with them seek the god.
Do not forget that each of you has the right to a voice, to an opinion; none of us is almighty and all-knowing. Everyone makes mistakes, and each of us can help and return the brother/sister to the right path. Study the writings from Genesis to Revelation without skipping the prophets or the genealogies; since they are there, they have a place in our hearts as well. Besides this, if you are called to be a prophet, you will not manage without the prophets, because persecution and rejection soon begin, and you will not be ready if you do not know the Bible perfectly. Bear in mind that the translations contain many deliberate changes that serve their doctrines, and you must find how to distinguish them. I have some materials on the matter; find them. And after that bear responsibility for your spirituality: when you see a situation, do not run from it, but try to understand the will of the god in it.
